Mr Nguyen sees both Public (Non-insured) and Insured (Health Fund) patients.

Procedures can be performed at the Austin Hospital or the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital via the public waiting list or as a Private (Insured) in Public.
|
Private inpatient care can be provided at Warringal private, Epworth Richmond, Knox Private, or Northpark Private Hospital.

Mr Nguyen's scope of practice includes all disorders of the colon, rectum and anus, including colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, colonic and rectal polyps, inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD: Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease), diverticulitis, rectal prolapse, haemorrhoids, anal fissures, and fistula.

Mr Nguyen also offers colonoscopy as screening for colon and rectal cancer, to detect and remove colonic polyps and tumours as early as possible.

In addition to treating all abdominal and pelvic colorectal disorders, Mr Nguyen performs all common general surgical procedures including keyhole gall bladder surgery and hernia surgery (both open and keyhole).
