Scope of Practice
Mr Nguyen is a specialist colorectal and general surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery, the full spectrum of anorectal pathology, advanced endoscopy, and minimally invasive hernia surgery including complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He operates at Warringal Private Hospital and Epworth Eastern Hospital, and holds a public appointment as Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Austin Health.

Public — Austin Hospital
Uninsured patients seen in our rooms can be organised for their treatment at Austin Hospital through the public system. Waiting times for treatment are determined by Austin Hospital's clinical triage process and are outside the control of our rooms — we are unable to provide time estimates.
Please note that in the public system, procedures may not be performed by Mr Nguyen personally — patients will be treated by a member of the Colorectal Surgery Unit, or by the Gastroenterology Department for endoscopic procedures, depending on availability and clinical need.
